Why are Cheekbones considered attractive?

I never got cheekbones and the big buzz with woman wanting to have larger cheekbones, more prominent cheekbones, or whatever! I don't know what's so attractive about them. I mean, I can see that prominent cheekbones are quite attractive but I can't see how! I can also see that cheekbones might give the face a narrower look and maybe a pointier chin but it's not that big of a deal!

Really, if I was out walking on the street I wouldn't think a woman with cheekbones are more attractive than a woman without. I think the reason why women think cheekbones are attractive is because they look at a picture in a magazine, and they see a model with cheekbones and maybe wished they had them. Then, they stared at themselves in the mirror and actually studied if she had cheekbones or not because as you know, a person's flaws are more easily seen by the actual person. Otherwise, I don't think people out in the public would actually notice unless, like the person, they were just staring at cheekbones.

Anyways, to all ladies out there, don't worry if you have cheekbones or not! Your flaws are easier seen by you than anyone else and anyways, your face was created to match you! So if you see some model in a magazine with some facial feature you want, don't think it would suit you because it might not! You probably would look prettier just the way you are rather than going under the knife to look like someone else! You are special in your own way!

So in conclusion, I really don't get the buzz on cheekbones! Why are they so highly seeked that women would go under the knife just to have their bones broken and reshaped (really! That's how cheekbones are shaped in plastic surgery). So women, don't care about your flaws too much!

Low cheekbones

High cheekbones

  1. There will always be a part of the population that was not raised by parents who gave them the proper tools to face the pressures of materialism. In face reading the cheeck bones are about your personal power style -how you get things done or make things happen.
